Veev Spirts LLC, a liquor company, was looking to educate the marketplace about the launch of their new liquor that featured an exotic ingredient hailing beneficial properties through an interactive training tool. The training tool was to enable the target audience of bartenders, bar owners, liquor distributors and liquor store owners to spread awareness through the marketplace about the unique selling points of its new product and give them the knowledge to communicate those features to the consumer.

The strategic approach for the project was to design around the simple approach of learning while playing. The training tool consisted of three different mini-games with each game focusing on a specific message about the liquor. Each level was followed by a quiz that challenged the players to recall what they had been introduced to inside of the game.

The buzz the company created through the use of the Veev training tool resulted in news stories in dozens of magazines and newspapers across the country such as the New York Times, Vanity Fair, and People. The training tool has been used hundreds of times in every city and has been met with positive response. The tool is seen as a smart, simple and effective way to share information and create product evangleists.
