In selecting one inspired product every day, Daily Grommet creates a "news story", a word of mouth campaign, and a daily sales event to engage people in conversation and commerce. We designed this one-product-a-day social network and e-commerce site of quirky, fesh products to reflect their curious mix of modern and hand-crafted sensibilities. By implementing the Daily Grommet onto Magento it allowed for a flexible content management system for frequent updates of new products, stories and features. We also integrated social media tools and a robust eCommerce solution allowing for the company to scale in both sales and increased complexity. During our redesign we paid special attention to UI practices to enable a smooth product ordering experience as well as to integrate the Grommet social community.
